DiNardo’s Dugout: Justin Gone. Kate Next?

DiNardo’s Dugout is back and better than ever! You are going to want to give them a listen after yesterday’s crazy waivers trade deadline. Make sure you give them a follow on Twitter and SoundCloud.

In this episode:

“The crew is back together again and that probably means nothing good. After we get our Madden and Fantasy Football fix in, we dive into the Justin Upton trade to the Angels (which are apparently in a Wild Card race). Though the deadline probably passed when you are hearing this, we wonder at this time if there are more deals to come from the Angels now that they seem to be making a run?

Next on the list is the Astros and their inability to improve to make them a contender. I mean, they did lands Francisco Liriano at the deadline and now claimed Cameron Maybin, but Houston what is you doin, baby!? Does this team have to make that move for Justin Verlander or are they better off without him? WagnerToCutch and DiNardo will debate that for you.

The talk of MLB was about Aaron Judge early in the season, but with his 30 home run surge since July 1, Giancarlo Stanton has placed himself back as being home run king in baseball. Will he get to 62?

Lastly, WagnerToCutch wants to discuss the importance, or lack off importance, the manager has in baseball and why people get so upset over them. The gang debates on the importance of managers and why fans are so stupid. Yes, you are stupid. STUPID!

Players Mentioned: Justin Upton, Justin Verlander, Cameron Maybin, Dallas Keuchel, Mike Trout, Albert Pujols, Brandon Phillips, Andrelton Simmons, Andrew Heaney, Garrett Richards , Collin McHugh, Brad Peacock, Lance McCullers, Giancarlo Stanton, Aaron Judge
